After the not too good results in the last recent years, Ireland with the seven victories in the Eurovision Song Contest decided to think very well before choosing the singer and the song that they will send the 61st song contest. The result of the broadcaster RTÉ is the wonderful singer Nicky Byrne.
    Nicky is an Irish singer - songwriter, radio producer, television presenter, dancer and former semi-professional footballer, is best known as a member of boyband Westlife.
    The song that will be performed in the Eurovision stage is written by Wayne Hector and Nicky Byrne, and has the wonderful title "Sunlight." And as Wayne mentioned "Nicky is a real talent and after having shared so much success previously, I was looking forward to working together with him again and with my good friend and super producer/composer Ronan Hardiman. We've written a song that we all love and believe in, which is a great showcase for Nicky's voice, so I'm looking forward to the night".
