    Sergey Lazarev is this year's representative of Russia in the 61st Eurovision Song Contest that will be held in Stockholm after the victory of Sweden in Vienna 2015.
    Born in Moscow Sergey Vyacheslavovich Lazarev, developed since childhood his artistic trends, at the age of six he followed artistic gymnastics, four years later he joined the children's choir Lokteus Children Choir and at the age of fourteen he already got his first music award. He was a member of the children's group “Neposedi” (Непоседы), and then of the successful “Smash!!”, in 2006 he started his solo career and till today he counts four studio albums and a collection with his best songs released in 2015.
    During the Russian National Music Awards 2015, he was crowned as the "Artist of the Year" and formalized his participation in the contest of Eurovision 2016.
   The song that will represent Russia in the stage of the 61st Eurovision Song Contest called "You Are The Only One" written by Philip Kirkorov and Dimitris Kontopoulos. Sergey will compete in the first half of the first semi-final.
