France: Madame Monsieur

    This year France decided to go for a national final, Destination Eurovision 2018, to choose their representative for the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon. The big winner of the night was Madame Monsieur with the song Mercy that will perform in the 63rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contes. The 18 participants of Destination Eurovision 2018 went through 2 semifinals and so the 8 finalists came out.

    The final winner of the Destination Eurovision 2018 was judged by the combination of the score of the audience and a 10-member international jury. Shortly before the announcement of the final result came the executive supervisor Jon Ola Sand, who asked French public television to make the event, the national final he organized this year.
