Czech Republic: Mikolas Josef

It was announced today by the Czech Republic that Mikolas Josef will represent the country in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest that will be held in Lisbon, Portugal with the song Lie To Me.
The 22-year-old Mikolas was born in Prague by a musical family. In 2015 he started his career in the music industry debuted with the single Hands Bloody.
The winner was voted through a special mobile app that set the first 50% and the vote of the 10-member International Committee, was the other 50%.
Candidates who attempted to represent the country in the upcoming contest were:

- Pavel Callta - Never Forget
- Eddie Stoilow - We Rule This World
- Eva Burešová - Fly
- Mikolas Josef - Lie To Me
