The Netherlands: Waylon
Waylon is already member of the Eurovision Family, with his friend Ilse DeLange formed the band “The Common Linnets” and reached the 2nd place at the Eurovision Song Contest Copenhagen 2014 with the song Calm after the storm.
This year national broadcaster AVROTROS has chosen Waylon to be the 60th representative of The Netherlands that hopes for the grand victory for years. Waylon was known from the TV-show Holland’s Got Talent in 2008, he became the first ever Dutchman to be signed by the Motown label. His debut album Wicked Ways became platinum. After All was his second album in 2011 and in 2012 he voted Best Male Singer at the 3FM Awards.
The representative song will be revealed in 2018.
