The surprise of this year's Eurovision lies not only on the returning of Portugal to the institution but mainly to the wonderful artist Salvador Sobral who was chosen by the public and the jury (50-50) with  the known manner of tele - voting to represent the country in the 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev, Ukraine, with the beautiful song Amar Pelos Dois (Love enough for two).
    The song is a creation of the sister of Salvador, Luisa Sobral, perhaps one of the most important young composers in Portugal. The song was written as Luisa saying with the voice of her brother in her mind. Salvador has already released his debut album in 2016 with the title Excuse Me, which contains creations of his own and in collaboration with Leonardo Aldrey, one of the biggest names in the music business in Venezuela, and of course creations of his sister Luisa Sobral.
    Portugal will compete in the first half of the first semi-final on the 9th of May.
