The big winner of this year's Melodifestivalen is Robin Bengtsson, after a marathon of semi-finals Robin manages to reach the grand final and win the impressions by winning the golden ticket to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest.
    The song I Can’t Go On is a creation of David Kreuger, Hamed "K-One" Pirouzpanah and Robin Stjernberg who represented Sweden in 2013 With the song You. The combination of stage presence of Robin with inventive choreography made judges to give the highest points while the public chose him as second in tele voting.
    Robin became known in Sweden after the resonance of the television show Idol in 2008. In 2016 he participated for the first time in Melodifestivalen managing to qualify for the final.

    Sweden will compete in the first half of the first semi-final on May 9th for a place in the grand finale.
