National Broadcasters France 2 and France 4 following the last year’s success of Amir, who took the sixth place in the grand final in Stockholm, announced the direct representation of France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev, to the 28-year-old artist Alma.
    The song that will represent the country directly to the grand final on 13 May entitled «Requiem»!
    “I’m deeply honoured to have been selected to represent my country, France, at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest”, said Alma. “I strongly hope to count on the public’s love and support to deliver the best performance possible”, she added.
    The song is a creation of Nazim Khaled, who wrote the huge success J'ai cherché by Amir.
