The Grand Final of Norway, Melodi Grand Prix 2015, wined by Mørland & Debrah Scarlett with thw song “A Monster Like Me”, a song of Kjetil Mørland.
Kjetil Morland comes from Grimstad, but has lived in England most of his adult life. This has had a great influence on him as an artist and songwriter. With its British band Absent Elk gave Kjetil out album "Caught In the Headlights" where Toby Smith (Jamiroquai) accounted for production.
Last autumn moved Kjetil to Oslo to establish himself as a solo artist under the name Morland. He works these days with his first solo album, which comes during 2015.
“A Monster Like Me “is a dark love ballad written by Kjetil. It's about to confront something unsettled from the past, and had let go of the one we love.
With him on the track he has Debrah Scarlett. The Norwegian-Swiss girl lived in Noida until she was five, but has spent most of his adolescence in Switzerland. Fall 2013, she made an impression on many Norwegians with his distinctive voice through participation in The Voice on TV2. Since then, she has played a number of concerts in their two homelands. In August last year, she moved back to Norway, and now hoping in earnest to start a music career here.
