Today was the Grand National Final of Switzerland for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The winner of the night was Mélanie René with the song Time to Shine, a very special song for a very special artist as Mélanie.
    Mélaniei was born on 1st September 1990, her origins are Mauritians. Her family is consists by musicians, that’s why her love for music is above all. From her early age Mélanie learned how to sing from her heart, something that is “painted” in her face when she performs. After representing Switzerland in various international music festivals, in 2010 she travels to United Kingdom to study music at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford. During her studies Mélanie creates the band “French Konnection”, that later became “The Motherfunkers.”
   “ I would continue to give it my whole and my best, working night and day if I have to. I want to be able to bring happiness to people, and entertain them through my song and performance.” With this words Mélanie express her deep love for music, like her family taught her.
