Sanremo’s winners Stadio declined their advantage to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest Stockholm 2016, instead of them Francesca Michielin, the runner-up of the Italian song contest, will perform in the stage of Eurovision in the 14^th of May in the Grand Final.
    “We would love to participate, but we have a tour already planned. If we were young men we'd just be happy” Stadio declared.
    The song which Francesca participated in the contest of Sanremo was Nessun grado di separazione. The song that will represent Italy in the 61^st Eurovision Song Contest is not yet confirmed.
